Graduated from the Design Department of Guangzhou Fine Arts College,Guangzhou in 1979. From 1986 to 1995, working in Hong Kong as a graphic designer.
Founding Wang Xu & Associates Ltd. in Guangzhou, China in 1995. Member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the New York Type Directors Club. Served on jury of numerous international design competitions.
Design work selected and awarded in the international competitions includes Communication Arts Design Annual, Graphis Poster, Graphis Shopping Bag, Graphis Logo, Graphis Typography.
