Honorable Mention

Title of work Storebin
Concept of the work There are more and more homeless people all around us and the number of the homeless is increasing day after day. Nowadays about 25,000,000 persons are leading their lives in streets without home.
The homeless are always looking for food, clothes or other daily uses in trash bins. they sustain their lives only by searching trash bins, and that's why we always see this kind of situation.
Therefore we can just do a little help for those homeless when we are dealing with the trashes, Some trash is still meaningful to someone else even though we think they are useless, and then we can pick them out and put them in the window HOMELESS ONLY.
Judge's Comment I would like a work which not only provides convenience to the homeless, but which also creates a relationship between the homeless and average people.
There is also concern that the Storebin could actually encourage dependence among the homeless and inhibit their return to self-reliance. I would have liked the designer to further explore the possibilities of Storebin as a tool that considers the problem of poverty and human relations.
