		Diverse activities that extend to the domestic as well as international sectors We actively pursue communication exchanges through a close network formed among designers, enterprises, and design operation bodies within Japan and throughout the world. We help sponsor seminars and lectures through inviting famed designers to the center and holding exhibitions designed to introduce people in design to outstanding operations and products in the field. As well, we frequently participate in design conferences and exhibitions held abroad with the aim of introducing design activities taking place in Japan to the global community. To date, we have already welcomed designers from more than twenty-five countries to the Design Center.

		The Association with the International Design Institutions The IdcN holds membership in a variety of international design institutions including the ICOGRADA, the ICSID, and the IFI. We have held meetings and conferences at the Center through inviting the executive boards of these design institutions to the Center, as well as sponsoring such activities as the DIS (Design Integration Seminar), the AMCOM (Asian Member Councils Meeting).
