DESIGN COLLECTIVE TOKAI | Grand Conference 2021 “What do we Design?”

The Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry is working on “Design Collective Tokai,” a support project for businesses and creators, with the goals of creating products and services based on design management, rebranding products and services, and improving the social value of the company itself. The aim is to continuously create “Collective Impact” that supports encounters, collaborations, and new challenges between businesses and creators, supports the creation of industries unique to the Chubu region, and connects human resources, organizations, and communities through this project to work on solving common problems.

At this conference, under the “Design Collective Tokai”, we will share the design management process practiced by businesses in the Chubu area in collaboration with producers and creators, and product package development that is conscious of “intellectual property”. The conference consists of a talk session by the producers on the theme of “how closely management and design will advance to the future”, and a workshop to learn the process of creating “collective impact” in business.
