Aalto University School of Art and Design: Exhibition “Glass Design Update”

This event is a glass design exhibition produced by Aalto University School of Art and Design. Exhibits consisted of a wide range of pieces, not only glass, but also paintings, furniture, lighting, architecture and product design, from sophisticated tableware to artistic lighting objects, all created by 13 postgraduate students and young designers. This show will be an introduction of the now of Finnish glass design, originating in tradition.

*In January 2010, Aalto University School of Art and Design, formerly known as the University of Art and Design Helsinki (TAIK), was incorporated into Aalto University along with the Aalto University School of Science and Technology (TKK/formerly Helsinki University of Technology) and Aalto University School of Economics (HSE/known as Helsinki School of Economics).
