The 1st International Competition “NAGOYA DESIGN DO! 1998”
Workshop “Find Your New Neighbors”

“NAGOYA DESIGN DO!” is a cpmpetition aimed at the next generation of young designers, from a wide variety of design fields. 9 award winning works and 15 honorable mentions were selected and were displayed at an exhibittion at the International Design Center NAGOYA/the Design Gallery. At the same time, characteristic of this competition, a workshop was held and the nine prize-winners from various countries gathered in Nagoya. For one week, they had to deal with the theme ”Find Your New Neighbors.” Despite the language barrier, the rewards seemed sinificant.
