The “Year-end Exchange Party” is an annual exchange event held by the Japan Interior Architects/Designers’ Association (JID) Central Japan area for the local interior community. This year, in conjunction with the party, a seminar will be held with Rinkan Eba, director of Eba Buddhist Sculpture Studio as a lecturer. Buddha statues have long been worshipped as objects of faith. Mr. Eba, a Busshi (Buddhist image maker) who is involved in the production, will talk about what it is like to “sculpt a buddha statue”.
