The 26th Japan Jewellery Art Competition 2010
Concurrently held: The 1st Japan Jewellery Design Competition

The Japan Jewellery Art Competition Exhibition, open to the public, will be held to explore the possibilities of jewellery as freely conceived art, going beyond the concept of everyday accessories. Displayed in the exhibition will be a selection of winning pieces from the 26th Jewellery Art Competition 2010, which attracted 1,269 entries. Among the pieces shown from this competition was the Grand Prix winner, Mizuko Yamada’s Bangle Binding a Couple. Also displayed were 22 pieces from the 1st Japan Jewellery Design Competition.
