Use it! Asks,
"What is design? Why is design important?" "And why and how does design play a role in our everyday lives?"

The exhibition is a snapshot of Danish design in 2005 and an entirely new take on the nature and capabilities of Danish design. It features some 90 Danish products in the fields of furniture, clothing, graphic and industrial design.>>

Use it! Lets you see, sit, touch, push, construct, move, jump and think...

The exhibition has five thematic rooms:

● Reflection creates comprehension
● Limitation creates innovation
● Help creates independence
● Dialogue creates inspiration

Use it! supplements the joint Nordic pavilion in the EXPO area and is backed by the Royal Danish Embassy.
Use it! was developed by the Danish Design Centre in Collaboration with Tine Nygaard and Charlotte Jul (exhibition concept and curation), Bosch & Fjord (concept development and exhibition design), EL-BO Produktion A/S (production) and Peter Lassen.
After EXPO Use it! will tour the world.

Kids Workshops: Let's use Danish design!

 

Concurrently with the "Use it! Danish Design in Everyday Life Exhibition" , the following workshops for primary school children will be conducted by professional designers.

The programme consist of two parts: a guided tour of the 5 thematic rooms for the participants to have an interactive experience with projects featured in this exhibition followed by a workshop.

 
At the Movement Creates Development Room, we can try the Kangaroo bicycle and the Seesaw sofa.
