Born in 1964 in Tokyo. Graduated from Musashino Art University.
He is involved in three main types of work: creating, teaching and writing.
Representative Director of Living World, a design office established in 2002, focusing mainly on communication design.
As a project planner and production director, he is widely involved in various design projects, such as creating websites, museum and art museum exhibitions, and public space media. Also, his creative work is based on the theme "Senseware". In addition, he organizes lectures, workshops and forums on design process and working methods.
Part-time professor of Tama Art University.
2002-2004, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the National Education-related Workshop Forum. As a researcher focusing on working methods, he has written several books including "Jibun no shigoto wo tsukuru" (Make your work) published by Shobunsha, Chikumabunko, "Jibun wo ikashite ikiru" (Live alive?) published by Basilico, and "Jibunno shigoto wo kangaeru mikka-kan I" (Think about your work for three days Book I) published by Koubundou.
