Online Matching Event of Service Areas Buyers and Suppliers in Hokuriku Region

The Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry is implementing dissemination and enlightenment projects to create new businesses that utilize resources of local industry in the Hokuriku region (Toyama and Ishikawa).
This online trade show and matching meeting will be an opportunity to publicize the attractiveness of products such as souvenirs and ingredients unique to the Hokuriku region, which were developed through the utilization of local resources and collaboration between agriculture, commerce and industry, to tenant buyers. Premised on participation in the branding seminar: “Introducing the Charm of Products!” from Hokuriku (held online from 13:30 to 17:00 on November 24).
In addition, in order to brush up products, etc., we will dispatch specialists to two of the companies wishing to participate in the matching event.

Method: Online matching of exhibition and presentation by Microsoft Teams; 25 minuites each per a participating supplier
Targets (supplier): Companies whose products can be provided to service areas, etc., and have been certified as regional industrial resource utilization business plans, agricultural, commercial and industrial cooperation business plans, etc., or handling products and traditional crafts, etc. with the characteristics of the Hokuriku region.
Capacity: 20 companies; Up to 3 products each
Participation requirements:
(1) An internet connection environment that does not interrupt video and audio
(2) A computer with a microphone and a camera, or a tablet
(3) Prepare product samples, make FCP (Food Communication Project) trade show and business meeting sheet (mandatory), and submit product PR materials (optional).
Buyers: 11 companies from Highway Service Areas (PA / SA) of Hokuriku prefectures (Toyama, Ishikawa, Fukui)
Application deadline: December 16, 2020

■Dispatching Brush-up Specialists to Suppliers
Specialists: Yuko Shinko, starfood Japan Co.
Hiroki Shimada, Project Manager, Starfood Japan Co.
Brush-up items:
・Brushing up products and/or FCP (Food Communication Project) trade show and business Meeting sheets
・Adding value to existing products and/or services
・Brushing up sales promotion plan and/or SP materials
・Branding and design strategy construction, etc.
Targets: Two SMEs located in Toyama and Ishikawa prefectures
Period: Twice in Mid December 2020 to January 2021 (tentative)
*The specialist visits the participating companies.
Fee: Free. In case of prototype production, please bear the cost.
Conditions: Must attend both the branding seminar and the online matching event.
Application deadline: December 4, 2020 17:00
Company selection: Determined by examination based on application details
