The second Saturday of May is the World Fair Trade Day, on which events are held around the world. Commencing the 13th time this year in Nagoya, various events such as talks, workshops, coffee summit, marche, etc. are held at Shibafu Hiroba, Hisaya-odori Park.

◎Workshop
Workshops that make accessories, bottle-shaped solar lantern, coffee grounds coasters, etc. Anyone from children to adults can participate.
◎Coffee Summit (Fair Trade Coffee Comparison) 10:50 – 17:00
Compare up to 5 cups of coffee from around the world
Fee: 1,800 yen (including selectable mug / tax included)
Repeater: 1,300 yen (tax included)
(*Show your student ID and get 200 yen worth of fair trade coins)
◎Fair Trade Marche 11:00 – 18:00
Marche by stores handling local, domestic and overseas fair trade products
