Design Triplex 11: Symposium
Goal: Only-in-Japan Space Design
Timed to coincide with the opening of the Design Triplex 11 Japan Space Design Exhibition, there is a symposium with the award winners, to contribute to the PR for this exhibition and increase awareness of space design. It must be possible to contrive space design appropriate to Japan, materializing Japan’s sensibilities and aesthetic. Symposium members speak about the direction of their own space design, viewed from many years of exhibition experience; their work for the TOYOTA Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology that garnered the Space Design Outstanding Performance Award (DSA) and the Gold Award of Excellence in Signage Design (SDA); as well as the possibilities for the value of space design blending interior and exhibition design.
